This yummy treat makes for the perfect
after school snack.

1 to 1 1/2 cups vanilla bean gelato
1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
8 chocolate chip cookies
Directions:
To make the sandwiches, take the gelato out of the freezer to soften. Cover 1 side of each cookie with chocolate hazelnut spread. Place the cookies in the freezer for 5 minutes to become firm. Take out of the freezer and quickly spread 1/4 cup of gelato on the chocolate hazelnut side of 4 of the cookies and top with another cookie (make sure spread side is against the gelato). Place the biscotti gelato sandwiches back in the freezer for 5 minutes. Yum!
substitute with cioccolato scuro gelato or peanut butter for a variation |
